🎉 I'm NED! (No Evidence of Disease) 🎉
Hearing the words, "you are NED” is the golden statement that every cancer patient yearns to hear. I NEVER thought I would hear those three words in one sentence, considering four years ago I was recommended to Hospice with cancer through-out my body: breast, lungs, liver, spine, adrenal gland, ribs and hip bone.
Never in a million years did I imagine this‼️
During my close brush with death, I had to get emergency double hip surgery as my hip broke due to bone metastasis. I was on oxygen constantly, couldn’t lay down to sleep at night as I was gagging in my sleep. I came very close to death several times.
I am incredibly grateful to be alive! 🎊
The interesting thing is: I don’t dwell on the cancer. I never think of myself as sick. I see myself as healthy.
I don’t make cancer my story. It is part of my story, but it is not MY STORY ‼️
I don’t even like to write about it much, as that makes me dwell on it.
I was at peace with the remaining amount of cancer in my body & didn’t really think about it, I gave it no energy. Perhaps the fact that I would rather swim deep in the ocean with my 🧜♀️ tail and observe the magical underwater world where I live here in Kaua’i, Hawaii has made a difference⁉️ (Check out my new Instagram page for more about that! 🧜♀️

Perhaps the medicine journey I took months ago where I released family trauma, pain & anger that was not mine freed my body from the residual cancer that was left⁉️ I saw myself as healthy & declared to my friends that I was ‘FREE OF CANCER’ and I AM‼️
All in all, it’s a miracle, considering my past & what a traumatic year it’s been with both of my parents dying. This year has been a doozy! To get through it all and be declared NED is a TOTAL MIRACLE‼️Wow!
