My Mermaid Business - Kaua'i Mermaid Experience 🧜🏽‍♀️

Aloha friends,

You may not know, but last year I decided to start my own mermaid business! Diving into mermaid life has been an extremely transformational experience of reclaiming my joy again!

For my entire life, I have been fascinated by mermaid mythology and have surrounded myself with beautiful mermaid art. In the last few years, both of my parents died in an extremely tragic four month time period, which left me bereft. Fortunately, I live on the gorgeous island of Kaua’i, Hawaii and decided to immerse myself in the soothing waters to heal my broken heart. I was introduced to the joy of mermaiding by the lovely Mermaid Aqualina on Maui and was immediately hooked! Embracing my mermaid self has helped to process the trauma and I am inspired to share the mermaid magic with you!

I am a Padi Mermaid Teacher, certified as a teacher through Catalina Island Mermaids, freediver and avid ocean lover.

More than anything, I love to share the contagious joy of being a mermaid with others. It is such a wonderful feeling to see the childlike bliss that people of all ages experience when experiencing wearing a tail!

I am loving the experience of teaching others to swim in a tail, taking photos and videos of them. I am in the process of developing my skills to take better above land and under the water photos.

The root of the word mermaid means ‘servant of the ocean’ and I am deeply committed to being a steward for our vast and incredible seas. Since transforming into my mermaid self, I have also started a podcast sharing vital information about ocean conservation and healing called: Mermaid Musings: Diving Deep with Tara Coyote.

Check out my biz website, my biz Instagram page , biz Facebook page and also my personal mermaid IG page if you want more info!

I hope you enjoy some of my favorite mermaid photos here.

May we all find a sense of transformation in what truly brings joy to our heart.

With love and aloha,

Tara
