Maui Travel Vlog: Mermaid & Whale Adventure

Come with me for this epic mermaid adventure during the height of whale season on Maui, Hawaii! 🧜‍♀️

I took this trip purposely to Maui during whale season, as there is an astounding amount of whales on Maui, compared to the other Hawaiian Islands, due to the warm waters, deep channel & safety of the islands close to one another, that makes it perfect for the whales to breed & have their babies. It’s quite phenomenal how many whales are there! 🐋

During this February trip, I did another magical mermaid excursion with the wonderful Mermaid Aqualina (of Maui Mermaid School) & Odyssea Photography. I always love being with them, they are such lovely Mer-people. You’ll see some behind the scenes shots of what goes into the creation of these gorgeous photos! 📸

I did a paddle boarding adventure with Aqua with her biz Maui Sup Adventures with the lovely and talented musician Noelani Love! 🎶

I was psyched to attend the Whale Trust annual ‘Whale Tales’ event, which is a gathering of whale lovers, scientists, artists to share fascinating information about all things whale. I got to meet Dr. Sylvia Earle of Mission Blue which was truly an honor to be around such a powerful ocean leader, who has and continues to pioneer ocean science & conservation. I went whale watching and got to photograph these wild, gentle marine mammals, then uploaded them to my brothers Happywhale app to be able to identify where they have migrated from (Alaska/Russia) & track where they’ve been on the Hawaiian Islands, which was exciting! 🐳

You can also see my baby dragon Kudaru created by the talented Mr. Ocean scattered through out the video. He truly enjoyed the adventure! 🐉

It was a beautiful adventure and I’m excited to share it with you!
